 Toro® 760/780
This rotor is most frequently used as a part circle companion sprinkler for Toro 730's and 750's. Previously used mostly around perimeters, it is now common to see this sprinkler on approaches, around greens, and even on fairways and roughs. As is apparent in the sample profile, the factory nozzles are too wet from 5 to 15 ft. from the sprinkler. The resulting wet area close to the head makes it nearly impossible to apply the correct amount of water further away. If soil conditions permit good drainage, the over-irrigated zone may not be visible. However, the flawed profile will manifest itself as a strip approximately 20 ft. from the sprinkler in most soils. The FCI nozzles replacement nozzles for the Toro 760/780 are designed to reduce the amount of water close to the sprinkler, and push more water towards the center of the profile. In addition, the FCI nozzles do not interfere with the range nozzle as much as the factory nozzles. This permits the range nozzle to throw a little further, and perform better in the wind.
