Toro 670 Upgrade
Toro 670 Performance Chart
Much better coverage close to the sprinkler, eliminating the formation of donut patterns. Improved coverage in the mid-range on wider spacings 80'+.
Stainless steel and brass construction far exceeds the durability of plastic.
Water exits the slots in the patented stainless steel orifices at a higher trajectory so as to clear the grass around the head, compensating for the low pop-up height.
Sprinkler Model Summary:
The design flaw of this sprinkler has always been it's pop-up height. It is so low that the stream of water from the Toro spreader nozzles almost always hits the grass first, before
it goes airborne. This causes excessive ammounts of water to accumulate around the head creating the all too familiar donut pattern. FCI spreader nozzles are designed to compensate
for the low pop-up height by fanning the water out in a broad stream, and throwing it up and over the grass around the head. Extra attention must be paid to this sprinkler
with any nozzle however, and heads that are too low must be raised.
FCI Nozzle Sizes Available:
FCI nozzles are available in two sizes to retrofit the intermediate and back spreader nozzles of the Toro 670. The smaller of the two sizes (#11S) will replace the #70, and #71 nozzles. The larger will replace the #72, #73, and #74 nozzles. Sprinklers on spacings of less than 75' will not require replacement
of the intermediate nozzle.

"We had donuts around our Toro 670 heads, so I gave FCI a call and the rest is history! They solved the problem of donuts, wet spots and dry spots,"
