Toro® 630 Upgrade
Toro® 634 Performance Chart
Highest possible uniformity for this sprinkler on a wide range of spacings and pressures.
Stainless steel and brass nozzle construction far exceeds the durability of plastic.
The uniquely formed stainless steel plate directs water through the orifice slots at a higher trajectory so as to clear the grass around the head, compensating for the low pop-up height.
The FCI stream straightener design, available in the Toro® 634 range nozzle, is the most technologically advanced stream straightener in the irrigation industry. It so effectively removes turbulence
from the water flowing into the nozzle that the distance of throw is not compromised by the irregularly shaped orifice plate.
Sprinkler Model Summary:
The design flaw of this sprinkler has always been it's pop-up height. It is so low that the stream of water from the Toro® spreader nozzles
almost always hits the grass first, before it goes airborne. This causes excessive ammounts of water to accumulate around the head creating the all too familiar donut pattern. FCI spreader nozzles
are designed to compensate for the low pop-up height by fanning the water out in a broad stream, and throwing it up and over the grass around the head. Extra attention must be paid to this sprinkler
with any nozzle however, and heads that are too low must be raised.
FCI Nozzle Sizes Available:
FCI nozzles are available in three sizes for the Toro® 634: #32, #33, and #34. Flow rates, and distances of throw of the FCI nozzles equivalents are within 5% of the Toro® catalog performance charts.
