FCI Upgrade Spreader Nozzles for Rain Bird® Eagle^TM 700

FCI rear spreader (mid-range and inner) upgrades for the Eagle 700 rotor are designed to not only improve the performance of the sprinkler on square and triangular spacings, but also significantly reduce plugging and wear. The FCI nozzle orifice plates are made of stainless steel and will not be subject to significant wear. In addition, the water passageway through the inner spreader nozzle is large and plug resistant. The factory nozzles are made of plastic and the many sharp edges (see image A.)are much more likely to wear and distort causing significant changes to the sprinkler uniformity. The 4 tiny holes in the factory inner spreader are smaller in diameter than the holes through the screen at the base of the sprinkler. This causes an unacceptable degree of plugging (see images B and C).
