Bear® Upgrades


Bear® 7300 & 7301 Inserts & Sprinklers

The Bear® Model 7300 & 7301 inserts and sprinklers were introduced to the golf industry as an option to replace aging Toro® Model 630, 660 & 730 components. The standard pressure FCI retrofit nozzles for the Bear® products are designed for use at 65 to 80 psi. A special 50, psi low pressure nozzle is also available.

The FCI nozzles optimize distribution uniformity and eliminate the wet spots, dry spot and “donuts” often seen with the stock nozzles. The rear spreader nozzle (close in) throws water in a broad fan type pattern, up and over the surrounding turf. The patented FCI orifice plate style nozzles are designed to operate more efficiently over a wider range of pressures than conventional straight bore plastic nozzles.

FCI Nozzle Sizes Available:

FCI currently offers #06 (Brown), #07 (Blue), #08 (Violet) & #09 (Red) sizes for spacing between 60 and 75 feet. A special low-pressure (50psi) #08LP (Green) nozzle set is recommended for Toro Model 660 50 psi system retrofits on 60-66 foot spacing.
